Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Coffee Kiki La Rue

Hello and Happy Tuesday! Today is Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Day!!! :) And with this challenge, we were given a picture to inspire us!  I love this type of challenge because it can be anything you feel gives you inspiration and everyone has different ideas of what it is for them!  So if you feel "inspired" to join this challenge, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog and join in! You could win some prizes and it's just a lot of fun.  I know you all are super creative and would have a good time with this!

So here is the inspiration picture.  I really like this picture and it reminds me of waking up early and having that first sip of coffee to get you going!  Not that I look or feel as beautiful as this model first thing in the morning! LOL

And here is my card!

I used some corrugated Kraft card stock which I picked up at Michael's. I picked a CC Design stamp called "Coffee Kiki La Rue" and stamped this cute image using my Memento black ink.  I thought she was adorable and couldn't wait to color her up with my copic markers.  I paper pieced her clothing and shoes with the designer paper.  I used "Random" Paper Collection by Crate Papers.  These were such fun and pretty papers to work with.  I placed Kiki on a "Beaded Circle" Die Cut from Spellbinders.  I also wanted to match the little flowers on the image by making some daisies with the paper collection.  I used the MFT "Rolled Daisy" die cut and these were so much fun and super easy to make!  I made 3 flowers using the papers. I added a pearl center in one and then took a few small white rose buds from I Am Roses and added it to the centers of the other two daisies. I also used my Atyouspica glitter pens in "melon" and "lemon" to color up the flowers on the image and give it some shimmer. The sentiment is from a  stamp collection called "Latte Love" from Fiskers. I stamped it on a handmade banner also using the designer paper.
Be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for Kiki La Rue and other great stamps! Laura also has a ton of pre-orders coming in all the latest and greatest!
Hope you like my card and thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful rest of the week! :)

SSS Halloween card using Koume-Chan by Mitzi Sato Wiuff

Hi Bloggers! Hope everyone has started off their week well. I couldn't help but created another Halloween card!  Just one more day until Halloween!!! This card was created for Scrapbook Stamp Society using digi image "Koume-Chan" by artist Mitzi Sato Wiuff.  I had so much fun working with this image and coloring it up with my copics! It is such a great Halloween image!  I kept the card very simple and just cut out the image using my Spellbinder "Circle" die cut.  I then laid it on a Spellbinder "Scalloped Circle" die cut using the design paper.  The paper collection I used is Tim Coffey's "Halloween collection" by K & Company.  I used some lime green Bazzil card stock behind the design papers and then added some Recollections bling to embellish as well. The image "Boo" is from an Inkadinkadoo stamp set.  Hope you enjoy my card and hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween!  Stay safe and have fun!!! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sundays using Naughty or Nice Angel Girl

Happy Saturday to you all! Hope you have been enjoying your weekend!  My weekend was definitely a busy one but also packed with lots of fun! My family enjoyed some community trick or treating today as well as a fun Halloween party.  Halloween is definitely a favorite holiday for my family!
So I know I've been making a bunch of Halloween projects back to back and I might even slide in one more before Halloween comes!  But for this Sunday's project, I decided to step away from Halloween and create a Christmas card.  Well that was my true intention although in the end, I felt like it wasn't your "Traditional" type Christmas card.  I'll call it my "California Christmas Card"! LOL  If you remember last week, I used the Greeting Farm "Naughty or Nice" set with the cute little girl devil.  This week, I wanted to use her partner, the little angel.  I really had fun coloring her up with my copic markers. I laid her on some layered Spellbinders scalloped ovals.  The "Sparkly Cheers" sentiment is also from the set.  I added some MFT "Large Leafy Flourishes" on either side of this cute angel girl.  I wanted to accent her halo with pearls and also added a few on the flourishes.  The white Poinsettia is from Petaloo.  And the background papers are from  "The Peppermint Collection" by Crate paper.  These papers are so fun and unique!  So hope you all enjoy my card and if you have a chance, please check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see the other DT Sunday projects!  Thanks for stopping by! :)

SSS Card using Eleanor and Picklestein Halloween Digi

Hello!  I wanted to quickly share another Halloween project I made for Scrapbook Stamp Society.  This card is using Heather Valentin's "Eleanor and Picklestein Halloween" digi.  I had so much fun coloring up this image with my copic markers.  I used my Sakura Jelly Roll glitter pen to color in part s of Eleanor's hair, her glasses and even little Picklestein's "Frankstein" nails!  It was a lot of fun!  The Halloween ribbon I used is from Michael's and I used the Bow Easy template to make it. That template is my new best friend!!! LOL  The "Happy Haunting" sentiment is from an Inkadinkado Halloween set and the bling is from Recollections.  The paper collection I used is "Tim Coffey's Halloween and Fall collection" from K&Company.  Lots of fun papers. I am having a blast creating Halloween cards and projects!  My family is definitely enjoying this fun holiday. We have visited the Pumpkin Patch and attended a Trunk or Treat event tonight.  Tomorrow,  my kids can't wait to decorate their pumpkins.  Hope everyone is also enjoying the Halloween festivities.  Have  a great rest of the weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Naughty or Nice Stamp Little Devil Girl

Hello Bloggers! It's time for Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!  To keep the Halloween Spirit going, this week's challenge is "Get Your Spook On"!!!  I absolutely love Halloween and so I was so thrilled with this theme and excited to make another "Spooky" project! :)

So here is my card!!! I just had to use this little sexy devil girl from the Greeting Farm.  She comes from the "Naughty or Nice" stamp set.  I love this image and had so much fun coloring her up with my copic markers.  I added some fine glitter in red on her horns and her shoe. The background paper I used is a mix from Recollections "Midnight Magic" and Teresa Collin's "Haunted Hallows".  I also used some Bazzil red cardstock I had in my stash.  I tried to stay away from all the orange and purple papers and keep with my colors of red and black.  I distressed some of the papers and also used a little of my Tim Holtz distress ink in "Black Soot" around the edges.  I used my Memento Ink in "Black Tuxedo" to stamp "Happy Haunting" which is from an Inkadinkado Halloween stamp set.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and were all sprayed with Tattered Angels "Iridescent Gold".  I also added some red rhinestones from Kaiser Kraft on the corners of the card to give some extra sparkle!  Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see all the other Halloween projects made by the Design team and to play along for some store prizes!!!  Also, please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for products used on this card as well as tons of other awesome stuff.
Thanks again for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of the week!  Hope you all get to enjoy some Halloween festivities! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday with Trixxie Treat

It's time for "Sensational Sundays" at Loves Rubberstamps!  Hope everyone is having a terrific weekend!  My family is enjoying all the festivities of Halloween, one of our favorite holidays of the year!  For this share,  I wanted to continue with the spirit of Halloween and make a project featuring "Trixxie Treat" which is a digi image from Kenny K. I love this image and I couldn't wait to make something with her!  So instead of a card this week, I opted to make a 3D project instead.  I found this cute wooden coffin at Michaels.  I first colored the coffin with Martha Stewart's "Beetle Black" acrylic paint.  I then sprayed over it with some Lindy Stamp Gang sprays in "Witch's Potion Purple" and "Screamin' Banshee Black".  These both have a purple hue to them which went perfect with the black coffin.  I added some purple trim and black beaded trim around the coffin from Karla S001 on Etsy. On the front, I added some orange trim from Webster's.  I laid cute little "Trixxie" on top of the coffin.  Of course I colored her up first with my Copic Markers and wow, that was a lot of coloring!!! I'm glad she came out okay! LOL  And then I just had to add flowers which I sprayed again with LSG in the purple I mentioned previously and also "Hogwart's Orange".  These colors are so vibrant and were a perfect match with my project! I handmade the banner and stamped "Boo!" on it from an Inkadinkado Halloween set.  I used my Memento Ink in "Tuxedo Black" to do this.  For goodies to make your Halloween projects, definitely check out the Loves Rubberstamps store.  There are a lot of great stamps and crafting supplies to choose from.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see all the "Sensational Sunday" projects made by the Design Team. Hope you enjoyed this project and thanks again for stopping by!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Farmer's Daughter

Hello Bloggers! It's time for Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!  The challenge this week was to use a Kenny K image and to use the "Out of the Box" technique.  For those who are unfamiliar with this technique, it is basically to have your image extend outside of the area you are cutting. There are various ways of cutting a shape around your image but not cutting through the area that is "outside".  There are many tutorials out there on the web showing how to do this. The easiest way to achieve this technique seems to be to use one of your Spellbinder die cuts.  However,  I'm sure there are other ways ways this can be done.

So here is my card!!! Both Kenny K and the "Out of the Box" technique are both new to me!!!  I had so much fun with the challenge and learned something new! I used a cute digi image called "Farmer's Daughter" from Kenny K.  This was such a fun image to work with!  I colored her up with my copic markers and cut her out using my Spellbinders Circle die cut. See her little feet extending "out of the box"?!! :) I used some Tim Holtz distress ink in "Frayed Burlap" around the circle to give it a little color.  I  laid that on top of a Spellbinders "Blossoms" die cut using some designer paper.  The DP I used is a collection called "Summer Fresh" from Simple stories.  Lots of gorgeous fun papers in this 6x6 collection.  I also used some Bazzil card stock behind in "Pink Cotton Candy".  I found a fun mini stamp from Studio G to use for the sentiment "You are my Sunshine".   I thought this fit well with my theme! I used my Memento Ink in "Black Tuxedo" to stamp.  The pretty pink daisy and small white flat flowers are from I Am Roses.  The bling is from Recollections.  I also couldn't help but use some brown shiny wheat leaves to match the wheat leaf in the image!  These are from Karla S001 on Etsy. Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see all the other Kenny K "Out of the Box" projects made by the Design team.  You might even like to play along for some store prizes!!!  I know you will have a blast! :)  Also, please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for products used on this card as well as tons of other fun stuff.  Laura has some new pre-orders with the latest and greatest stamps and crafting items! :)  So hope you have a chance to try out this fun technique!
Thanks again for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday Bella Card

I Design for Loves Rubber Stamps!

Happy Saturday and welcome to my project share for Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sundays"!!!  This card was so much fun to make!  I tried a new stamp called "Bella with Flowers".  Isn't this little elephant so darling?!!  I also used the matching Bella paper collection which comes in a 6x6 pack.  I stamped little Bella with Memento Ink in "Tuxedo Black"  and then colored her up with my Copic markers.  I then used some of Tim Holtz "Spun Sugar"distress ink to give my white background a little bit of color.  I cut my image out using the Spellbinder "Scalloped Circles" die cut and layered it on to another one using the background paper.   I used the banner part of my MFT "First Place Winner " die cut and stamped my sentiment on it.  I also used my MFT "Butterflies" die cut  to add some additional embellishment.  I added some small pearls to the body of the butterfly. The purple flower trim is from Sahafuha on Etsy and the mini pearl trim is from Karla S001 on Etsy.  The flowers are a mix from Recollections and I am Roses.  The pearl bling is from Recollections also.  Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see more of the "Sensational Sunday" projects from the Design Team.  They are amazing!!!  Also, please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store which has items I used for this card as well as tons of other crafting goodies! :)  Hope you like my Sunday project and thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS Halloween Treat Bag using Eleanor and Pickles Spookie

Hello! It's almost Friday! Yay!!! I wanted to quickly share a project for Scrapbook Stamp Society.  This is a Halloween treat bag I made using Heather Valentin's Eleanor and Pickles Spookie digi!  This was so much fun to make and I can't wait for Halloween to come, which is a favorite in my household! :)  The bag itself is made using an EZ template called "Rolled Bag".   I used  a "Tim Coffey" Halloween paper collection from K& Company.  I colored up this fun image using my copic markers.  I cut it out using "Labels Twenty -Three" Spellbinders die cut. I placed it on dimensional stickers on top of the bag.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections. I sprayed them up with TA "Iridescent Gold" to give it shimmer.  I handmade the banner using the designer paper and the stamped sentiment "Too Cute to Spook" is from an MFT PI set.  I added some wide black eyelets on both sides of the bag and ran some pretty purple and black Halloween ribbon through them to make a small handle on top.  The purple and orange ribbon I used to make the bow is from my stash as well and the little black spider.  I  just couldn't find any orange tissue paper for the inside so I improvised by using some plain tissue and spraying it with Lindy Stamp Gang's "Hogwart Orange". I love how vibrant that color is and it matched perfectly!  This little treat bag will go to my son, Noah's, teacher for Halloween.  Hope she likes it! Hope you all like it too! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Glimmer Bean

Hello! Hope everyone is starting off the week well!  Today is Loves Rubberstamps "Tuesday challenge" and the theme is "Bling it on..."  We were asked to incorporate bling on our projects!  This was so much fun because I love adding bling all the time!  Some projects just feel like they are missing something without bling.  LOL   So here is my card!

So when I saw "Glimmer Bean" from the Greeting Farm, I just had to use her on my card!   The sentiment for this stamp says "I Dare You 2 SPARKLE" which is so perfect, right?!!! I was feeling in a "Pinky" type of mood which you can see from my card! I colored this cute girl with my copic markers. I used my Sakura Glitter Jelly Roll pen to outline the bottom of her dress and the word "SPARKLE" to give it some extra shimmer.  I then laid her on some pink Bazzil cardstock.  Behind her image is some patterned paper using Spellbinders Labels 22 die cut. The paper collection I used is Bo Bunny "Vicki B" collection.  I layered some rhinestone trim on top of pink ruffled trim.  Both are from Karla S001 on Etsy.  I also added a light pink fabric flower from my stash.  I added a rhinestone buckle with a pearl in the middle as an embellishment. The Bling is from Recollections. On the inside, I layered some scalloped borders using the MFT's Jumbo scallop Die. You can find all the die cuts used as well as cute "Glimmer Bean" at the Loves Rubberstamps store.  If you want to play along with the challenge, please check out the Loves Rubberstamps challenge blog!  It is so much fun! :)  Also, be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team made for their projects!  You can find links to their blogs on my side bar. Have a great rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Boho Anya

Hello and Happy Tuesday!!!  I guess you might have noticed on my side bar that I am now on a Design Team for Loves Rubber Stamps! Yay!!!!  I am so excited about this! It's a brand new experience for me  to be on a DT and I am so looking forward to challenging myself with new types of projects and sharing my journey with you all!  So to start it off, this is my 1st inspiration card for our Tuesday Challenge!  The inspiration this week came from a photo and here it is:

The nice thing about the challenges are they can be anything you interpret the picture to be and everyone has different interpretations, right?!  When I think of Fall, I think of dark reds and browns.  The paper collection I used is Glitz "Yours Truly" and I really feel they used these colors well in their beautiful papers.  I also wanted to use the Greeting Farm stamp "Boho Anya".   Her scarf also made me think of Fall.  I colored her up with my Copic markers and then laid her on the layered background paper.  The lace, pearl trim and cute nylon butterfly are from Karla's store on Etsy.  Flowers are from Wild orchid crafts.  I handmade the banner and stamped "Hello friend" on it.  If you have a chance, check out the Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge blog every Tuesday for a chance to win prizes! :)  Also check out the Loves Rubber Stamps store with a ton of awesome stamps and crafting items.  The owner, Laura, is super sweet and will take care of you! :)  Anyways, thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the week!
